Synopsis/ Plot
Driverless focuses on three complicated relationships and how each person is somehow intertwisted with one another as a result of a car accident. In one story, Liu Ye plays a well-off man who is bored with his married life until he bumps into his first love played by Gao Yuanyuan. The love affair is one of the three stories in the film that critics says will strike a chord with today's urbanites whom live within a materialistic era.
The plot sounds all too similar with the Hollywood release Crash but director Zhang Yang tells critics that this film is an updated remake of his previous film Spicy Love Soup ( 1998 )
